Welcome to Digital Sport Social!

You may have heard of Digital Sport Summit (DSS10), a conference held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in July 2010 that brought together the best of sport and digital media for the first time.

The team that brought you DSS10 are back and offering a free, informal event for the sports and technology community in Melbourne – Digital Sport Social. We hope to bring you semi-regular events throughout the year, culminating with the annual Digital Sport Summit.

Our first guest is Melbourne Demons Chief Executive Officer, Cameron Schwab

Cameron Schwab commenced work as a junior administrator/office boy at the Melbourne Football Club at the age of 18 in 1982, and he has now come full circle and returned to the club as their CEO. Cam will be discussing how he ended up where he is today, the rise and rise of the Demons on and off the field, finals football and of course the efforts of the Demons in social media and how he was able to convince 13 Demons players to get on the social networking platform.

Cam will be interviewed by our MC Ed Wyatt.
